Record Your Nominee
Standard procedure (Bye-law 32)
- Collect or download Form 14 from the society or association.
- Fill in flat number, nominee details & share of interest.
- All owners sign → pay the recording fee (₹100–₹500, varies by society).
- Submit to the Secretary/Manager & get a stamped acknowledgement copy.
Changing later?
- Submit a fresh Form 14. The latest filing automatically overrides earlier nominations.
- Tip: Keep a copy of the recorded Form 14 with your property papers. This ensures smooth transfer of rights to the nominee in case of unforeseen events.
